09 February 1944 - Recalled Mission to Leipzig, Germany: The mission was recalled shortly after take-off. B-17s #42-39785 (Lt Headlee) and #42-29793 (Lt Shupe) had a mid-air collision. Both aircraft managed to land safely at Molesworth.
